About Me

Hi! I am Kelly De Young, a mother of 4 incredible children, and an Occupational Therapist that has worked with children for over 15 years. I refer to my own children, and the children that I work with, as “my children”!

Helping children feel a sense of pride in their accomplishments and enjoying being a kid is my passion! In the grand scheme of life, there is such a short period of time of being a kid. I want to help all kids to feel success, increased self worth, less anxiety, and PURE JOY!

I am a licensed and registered Pediatric Occupational Therapist and graduated from Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2004 with my Masters in Occupational Therapy. Since then, I have been working with children including school-based and Early Intervention. I am school-based certified and licensed in the state of New Jersey.

My hope is that you have “a-ha” moments and find new strategies to help kiddos who are counting on you for guidance! Some challenges seem impossible to overcome. Yet, a different perspective can open a new doorway and suddenly the challenge becomes doable!

Above all, I admire YOUR passion to help children thrive! YOUR dedication to promote self confidence! YOUR humbleness to search for answers! I welcome you into “my village” and hope that you leave feeling empowered!

I will provide strategies for sensory integration, self help, fine motor skills, prewriting activities, and much more focusing on kids development for Pre-school and up to 1st grade!

Before I go, I want to invite you to join my email community. Signing up will guarantee that you will not miss any of my posts and strategies! Im here to walk next you as you unlock your child’s potential!

I genuinely appreciate you and your eagerness to find solutions!
